HORSE BOARDING IN FAYETTEVILLE, AR
Christy has over a decade of experience managing horse farms and boarding stables, and offers a high-level of care and expertise.
Always August Farm understands what it takes to keep older horses, Thoroughbreds, and other "hard keepers," happy and in good condition. Our barn is clean, well organized, and quiet.
We carefully manage our pastures and turnout groups so horses are never crowded or bullied, can enjoy grazing nearly year-round, and always have shelter from the elements.
All horses have access to pasture or hay 24/7 and are fed grain/supplements twice daily.
We take on a small number of boarders for pasture or stall board.
Always August Farm does not offer public trail rides. Christy offers lessons to boarders and occasional trailer-in students.
Christy takes a select number of horses in for training, specializing in starting horses over fences.
Originally from Massachusetts, Christy began competing in the equestrian sport of eventing in 1999. In high school, she competed through the USEA Training Level and 3'6" jumpers with Beaulydar "Beauty."
Christy began eventing again in 2012 with Get a Witness and was the #10 ranked Novice Rider in Area V that same year. Christy has competed through the USEA Preliminary Level (3'7") with White Stromboli.
Christy has experience managing large professional equestrian operations, and has worked at large boarding farms in MA and SC. In 2009, she was the horseback riding director for the Girl Scouts of the Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys and was responsible for the care and feed of 23 camp horses and overall management of a lesson and trail riding program.
